Your guide to the best pharmacies in Punta Cana

Chances are, you probably won’t need to visit a pharmacy during your trip to Punta Cana. And if you do, you’ll probably find most common over the counter medications at your resort store or gift shop.

But every now and again, you may need the services of a full service pharmacy. A few years back, I needed to purchase diabetic test strips and found them very hard to source in the Punta Cana area. Thankfully, the wonderful staff of the Melia hotel were able to locate a pharmacy that was able to have some shipped to the resort for me.
